Dog bone insert

Hello all! I was planning on putting BFI’s stage 1 dog bone insert in my Passat as it says on their website the stage 2 is not recommended for TDI’s. Anyway, will the dogbone insert cause premature failing of any other motor/transmission mounts? Thanks!

What are you trying to gain from the insert?

Also I'm not sure the subframe insert of the TSI and TDI are the same, so a visual check should be in order.

VW went to great length to isolate the TDIness of a TDI, removing the dampening may shake the interior to death at idle, but will prob have similar results at you're '06 so go for it just don't be shocked at the results.
