Hello,
Once the temperatures dropped well bellow 0 degrees the car began to start badly when it was left overnight. For example at -10 degrees the car starts very poor. I need to stay that the spark plugs are brand new - NGK 4.4V and the battery is also brand new, Varta Sylver Dynamic 74Ah.
I did some logging using VCDS, and it seems that on engine module channel 12, once i put the contact the pre-glow period is set to 1.61seconds and the status is 0101000, that means No-Preglow. Seeing this i tend to belive that the car starts without the glow plugs?
I did another test, a friends advised me to do it, i switched the contact on and off for about 6-7 times and only the 7th time i've started the engine, i must say that the engine started way way better, almost like a normal engine start.
Any advice is well appreciated and i must state that the car starts perfecctly when temperature is above 0 degrees.
thanks Andi
