Orangeville Nissan & Dieselgate

Aug 2015 I found a JSW at Orangeville Nissan, and the unit sold itself in spite of some used-car-sales tactics by the sales rep.

Fast forward to today and I get a letter from them telling me that my car is "hot" in this market! (Oh really?) Annnd - they're willing to pay me $1K over market price for it!

Imagine that...

all dealers do this....and i dont know about jsws but touaregs have gone up a bit since i bought mine...i can sell it for what i bought it for a year ago with more kms on it

What Orangeville offered was market + $1K. If they were honest, it'd be closer to market + $5K.

lol..dealer..honest lol yah

the fine print will be something like...."if you buy a new Nissan from Orangeville Nissan.

And then they will charge you "full list" price for the new vehicle.
....its an old trick....they will make their money on the new sale.
