Violent Shaking In Reverse

My 2004 Automatic has been having a weird issue where it shakes violently when in reverse, bu only when it is hot outside (80+ or so) and after the car has been running for a while.
If its been parked in the heat, theres no problem. It never happens in the winter months.
At first I was assuming the transmission reverse gear was going out, but then I realized that if that was the case, then it would experience the shaking all of the time.

So now im thinking it could be some sort of sensor or gear range control module or something that could be affected by the heat.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be much appreciated. I would love to figure out the issue.

Thanks!

Subscibed. I get this when backing up hills and have always wondered if "normal" or not.

My 2005 would shake when backing up, but it was a front axle. It would shake even more when backing up on a grade (like in a parking garage). Here in Houston it is almost always 80F or warmer, so can't comment on the issue in cold weather.
