Been driving around with an annoying rattle coming from the rear driver side wheel (05 TDI Wagon). Took the tyre off to inspect pads/rotors where I discovered what I think is the culprit... the brake splash shield is hitting the rotors...
I pushed/bent it back and noise was gone for a couple of weeks but is back again. Short of replacing the shield or simply removing it, any one else dealt with this and have a simple solution?
