p.s. VNT turbos are available in the aftermarket now, aren't they?

Garretts "Ballastic Concepts" program is in the US and VNT's are available from authorized dealers. That list has the address and phone number of a shop in SLC. Also, go to their USA turbo site and look under business for this address list in better format. The VNT 15 has the larger compressor listed, I think off the top of my head, a 1.73 inch wheel. The VNT17 is the exact same turbine with a larger compressor wheel. The VNT 20 is larger all together. It would appear to me that you could just bolt on a VNT17 compressor housing to the stock VNT15 turbine!! Deserves a close look.........
