The B5 Chassis ABS Controllers are know to have problems. There are companies that can rebuild the ABS controllers. Alot of people have good luck. Me being one of those people ( on a 1999 Audi A4:)
Type the ABS Controller VW Part Number into Google and I think you'll get some ideas for who to send the ABS controller to.
Look on other forums too.

Thanks .i just have this error no abs light.Ill do the scan again and see if it return.
