12 Touareg TDI should I Tuner??

Just purchased car, 51,000 miles, is there anyone doing group buys? Looking for deal on Kerma or Malone, not sure if one better or not, wanting power plus MPG....Greenville, Ohio...Thanks in Advance guys

There is a thing the VW dealers are doing if the car has been tuned, they cancel the warranty. They mark the VIN with TD1 flag so you won't be able to go to a different dealer. With your mileage, you have 70k miles and at least 2 years on the extended warranty or 48 months/48k from the first sell after emissions fix. Make sure the car is working correctly before taking the jump.

also in consideration I have a vehicle with a tuned ecu that is bad. to program the new ecu I have to return ALL modification to factory before the ODIS will even attempt to program it. this is a huge pita if you haven't kept your old parts

They look at the flash count of the ecu. Best to not do it if under warranty, if the repair is expensive it will be checked and warranty voided.
