Note the Salamanca gasser wheels. I think they look better than the TDI 5 spoke wheels. Nice little bonus. :)

haha, aw man... 'whiz wit' is the only way i go, but i suppose if you're driving your brand new passat, you gotta class it up a bit. in this case, provolone is acceptable. ;)

Drove the whole way home in manual, going between 4 and 5. Despite that the MFA said we got 42 MPG! I'll see how accurate that is when we do the first fillup :D

Very nice color. My wife loves blue cars. She has seen this blue and she likes it. Not gonna happen anytime soon for me however...

Sweet ride! For me I find that the MFD reads a couple percent high. MDF average for since purchase is 39.5 and my hand calculation is 38.2. So not a big difference but some.

Congratulations it looks really nice.

Why is he taking the taillight out?

Might be interested in this thread. You may have worked a deal on that spoiler already, but $190 painted/shipped seem reasonable. Also, I highly recommend the truck mat/blocks. The floor mats can go as I prefer Weathertech, but that mat with the velco blocks rules!

Car came with the full heavy duty mat kit for the footwells and the trunk. Deal on the spoiler is already done... $300 is a bit more than $190, but whatever.

He's taking the tail light out to see if it's possible to retrofit amber turn signals into the unused clear spots.

Great! You may want to top off the fuel tank if you are impatient on FE numbers. You never know how the dealer topped it off. The real question is, did the new tight motor beat the old Jetta on the trip, at least according to the computers?

Sorry for stalking! I like the Night Blue Passats! Mine came with spoiler, mats, and first aid kit, all of which I was not expecting but am finding their value.
