2006 Jetta TDI with 249,500 miles.
When engine is at normal running temperature,started to have a severe engine knock when accelerate over 1200 rpm, if you accelerate over 2000 rpm smoke will come out of the right side of the engine. When driving has loss of power. The heavy knocking sound it looks like it comes from the big hose that connects to the turbo and air filter.
I took the air filter out and i hear the knocking sound louder.
