Paddle shifters??

Can an A3 or ?(VW) steering wheel be added to get the DSG trans to shift with paddles on the steering wheel? Any ideas or experience with this would be great.

Short answer: yes

Long answer: there is a whole DIY about replacing the wheel with one from mk5 GTI/GLI on vwvortex.

I've added the paddle shifter wheel to one of my 06 jettas. Not sure about adding it to a golf sportwagen(didn't even know there was a "golf" sportwagen).

There is a Jetta Sportwagen and a Golf Variant.

Alright...well, please don't flame me if this can be found in search (although I've done it and found no answer), but I have an '09 Loyal with DSG.

I also have the MFSW; so if I wanted the paddle shifters, would it be a straight-out swap? Besides Vag-com, would I need any other components/parts along with the new steering wheel with shifters?

Jetta Sportwagen = Golf Variant. There isn't a single difference between them except the badge on the trunk. You might want to check this: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2938601

Iam also interested. The link is only for direction since the wheel depicted does not have the paddles.

If you have MFSW and want to install one with paddles, all you have to do once you swap the wheel is to enable paddles with VCDS in steering wheel control module.
