Should've posted this a long time ago but I got confused by the other Piedmont Biofuels thread. Oh well, late notice is better than none.

Piedmont Biofuels Coop Members:
With so much pride I have the honor to announce to every one of you the upcoming grand opening celebration of the first commercial biodiesel plant in North Carolina. On September 25, 2006 Piedmont Biofuels will have the official ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for Piedmont Biofuels Industrial. 'This plant opening really does bring new meaning to the phrase "we couldn't have done this without you."

For those of you who do not know the scope of what we have accomplished, please allow me to clue you in. This just happens to be the absolute most cutting-edge, most exciting, and most genuinely sustainability-minded commercial biodiesel plant in the United States. What we have done here is truly legendary and the word is out, and every one of you who has supported us to make this happen should be very proud.

The opening celebration will likely begin during the day with a press meeting, with an official ribbon cutting at 6pm, followed by the greatest party Pittsboro has seen since Tami Schwerin turned 40. All coop members will receive an official invitation in the mail, and please feel free to invite any one you know. This is a free and public event for all to enjoy. More information will come shortly in the mail, but please, remember to save the date. We want you, our members, to share this occasion with us.

Thank you so much for believing in sustainability and modeling a different way of being for those around you.

We look forward to seeing you in September.

Warm Regards,
Matt

__. There was a big report on this event at WRAL news at noon today. Very well presented and the reporters seemed to be pretty well informed on the technical issues (which is quite rare unless they're talking about Paris Hilton's driving or Anna Nicole Smith's son).
