getting very little to no heat on the 05 BEW Golf TDi, feels a lil warmer when flow directed to the windshield, but to feet or forward/face pretty much cold, also the air flow very weak even at 4 setting. Theres a coolant movement from the return line when looked in the expansion tank, so pump prolly works fine, the engine is reaching operating temp but the temp needle kind of stays on the lower side, not straight up. Blend door or thermostat?

If the needle is not quite reaching vertical that means that your actual temperature is around 160 degrees. The needle reaches vertical at 164*. Thermostat is the likely culprit.

Pretty warm is not hot. Do you get air flow when it's on recirculate? If so change your cabin filter.
