I was wondering if any of you might be able to share if there are any good piggyback tuners to use.

I would just get a tune but I don't want to void my warranty by getting a td1 code.

Thanks in advance.

Over in the power enhancement folder do some searching, some have reported success with those euro units but others say its short lived as the ECU will over compensate. They aren't too popular here because of lack of support really.

You still have your 02 Golf or a 15 Golf?

If you have a 15 golf, try changing the throttle response from gradual to direct (again do a search on it) and see if you still want a tune.

Ok thanks for the reply, I still have the 02 and I also got a new to me 15 and the 15 is the one I was wondering on. I will check out the throttle response and see if i still want one.

From what it did to our Alltrack and what I've heard it does to the Mk7 TDI its worth the time changing the coding.

I'm still eyeing a tune for the Alltrack though.

Thanks in advance.

I have a piggyback tuner on my 3.0 Audi Q5 and it works great. You can find a lot of information about it in the Q5 model section of this forum. I have not tried one on a 2.0 engine.
