Which VCDS

I am thinking about purchasing a VCDS soon. I see on there sight they offer a $250 a $350 versions and a couple triple that. I just want to have a VCDS for whatever I would need to use it for on my car. Whats the benefit of the 350 one over the 250?

$250 = CAN Bus only
$350 = Dual K and CAN Bus

Basically if you're going to scan 2005+ cars ONLY, get the $250. If you have older cars, you need the $350.

I have the old Dual K only, someday I'll upgrade.

Minor correction:

$250 Can bus only (microCAN)
$250 Dual K only (KII-USB)
$350 Dual K and CAN bus (HEX+CAN)

#1 for newer VWs only
#2 for older VWs only
#3 For both older and newer VWs
