I have an 09 Jetta tdi dsg......Im at 117k and about to do a cross country trip....bought car at 30k...maintenance is consistent (oil, brakes, new tires) Ive been commuting to work the past 6 months and haven't been focused on my car like I should be...long story short, timing belt, not sure when the time to replace would be, getting multiple mileages 80 to 120k..help!:confused:

120k miles is the interval for tb on a CR TDI
80k miles is the interval for the tb on a PD TDI

If your car is a 09 TDI (as stated in your profile) and you are located in the good ol' USA or Canada then you have the CR engine.

My next question would be
What other service items have you skipped?

Timing belt should really be every 5 years or 120k, whichever comes first. Do your TB soon.

Thanks so much guys! Yes I have the CR TDI (09), thats the only thing Im lacking on service wise. Ive been pretty good about keeping up with basic maintenance, cross country trip coming up and it just hit me I had completely put my TB on the back burner so to speak. Just bought the belt today and will have that done this weekend.
Waiting on my scanner to come in to run a diagnostics to see if I have any codes come up.
