I ordered a PD140/gtb1749 from Darkside, in the UK. I know the PD140 is a drop in replacement, but I was wondering, with the bigger compressor wheel, the intake port on the turbo must be larger, so how does the stock intake mate up to the pd140 turbo?:confused:

Plug and play. The housing outer diameters for the inlets and outlets are identical.

Awesome thank you, I knew they were supposed to be direct fit, but I like to freak out about anything I can.

Have your tuner modify the tune for the turbo. The turbo still has VNT, it just doesn't use the smart actuator. The tuner can disable the CEL that'll accompany the lack of a smart actuator.
