2004 Jetta wagon TDI with 203,000 miles. Having moments of power "burp" at cruise or on upgrades. I see puff (or cloud)of smoke. Think it's black. And I did find the elbow hose/connecting pipe from intercooler to intake manifold is not seated well. Appears the two catch ridges are worn. Tried to jury rig with coat hanger wire to keep in place (tough job) to prove my suspicion. Any thoughts on my guess here?
