I had an engine installed from an auction car. Auction car engine had 111,000 miles on it. So even though it had 30,000 less it may not have had as good of a history as my original. I regret that I went this route as I run into problems. Currently it seems the only thing going me is that I installed an S7 turbo and tune during the process.
Here's my problem:
If I start off aggressive or floor the excelerator the car replies like it's taking my request under advisement, boges down, sometimes stays there and sometimes takes off bucking a bit. Typically I have to apply a gradual force to the excelerator and it decides if it wants to move like my dads old 1980 Chevy Chevette diesel or slower until about 1500 RPM. About 1500 RPM the turbo kicks in and it's like a rocketship I have to ease down before I hit someone. I feel like the engine isn't getting told to or just isn't producing power until the turbo kicks in. I normally don't go on the highway, but today I went on the highway and at about 70-75 mph it seemed like power was just disappearing. Hammer down on the pedal and it takes off again, but it just isn't right.
I have no fault codes under "engine".
I have two faults that I'm not sure are relevant under "Auto Trans":
01314 - Engine Control Module 49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent
01045 - Tiptronic Switch (F189) 27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
