I’m near the end (I think) of a manual transmission conversion and BSD kit installation in my 2004 Passat tdi. I’m the original owner and decided to try this instead of selling it for $500 to my local mechanic.
The starter will not crank. The wipers and lights work.When I turn the key, I hear a noise, but nothing. The ground to the passenger motor mount bracket is still attached.
There is a wire hanging down which I can’t remember or find where it goes. It has a clamp on it that I think attaches to a bracket on the starter. Does anyone know where the end attaches to?
