This is the code VCDS comes up with. I am down to the crash sensor. According to this thread https://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=203872
I need PN 6q0-909-606-k-002.

My part only has the 6q0-909-606. Nothing more then that. Since this appears to be a $180 or more none-returnable part online and the nearest VW dealer is 50 miles one way for me (only open during normal business hours) I would like to make sure I have the right part ordered.

Any one with some help? Part is out in my hands. There is also 02310GFX8TK and 16040812 on a white sticker on the side. Back side has PBTGF30. Top has

Wow-I really am not having luck getting VW answers lately. Either way I emailed Andrew at world impex and he said the PN I listed is correct. The K supersedes and the 002 is the model basically is what I got out of it. So I ordered one. Hopefully that fixes the last issue on the 04 Golf.

3) When removing carpet it is set tight against the runner so be careful there.

IMPORTANT on my 2004 VW TDI they made two types of sensors for the front. Mine is last 3 digits 002 in part number 6Q0-909-606-K-002, so be careful if you are getting a used part because if you get the wrong one it will not work!
