04 bew sluggish

i have a 04 bew with agarret vnt 17 its very sluggish at low rpms say when taking off on a large hill had another with same setup but redneck with egr delete that wasnt sluggish like this at low end. any thought woud be great

Same symptoms on my stock 04', was the turbo actuator (rusted), and it killed the N75 too.

turbo is only a year old but could be what so i check for ?

Check the vacuum hose attach point on the tandem pump. It affected my turbo and my brakes. The factory nipple is pressed in and had worked loose. The aftermarket part has it cast in. My son put something like JB weld and it sealed everything up and all is well.
