01 Jetta alh doner car for 02 Jetta 2.0

Hey guys I tried the search bar I’m sure there’s a lot of posts I just can’t find them lol.ok so as title says I have a 01 Jetta running currently my daily. Problem is that it was totaled when I bought it so body is smashed up bad axle crooked ect... I picked up a clean 02 Jetta 2.0 with a blown motor I was wondering how much of a chore it is to do a full swap so I can have the clean streight body?

Do some research on those conversion threads. I've done one and having the complete donor car makes for a lot of benefit. But, I did a 2003-2003 swap. The immobilizer was the same version and even with a immobilizer delete, I'm not sure your 2001 tdi ECU and cluster will be compatible with the the 2002 version. I do know there was a change somewhere in the model years there about.
Do the research. First.
