Solution?

Did this ever get resolved? Having similar issue with fuse #32 blowing upon acceleration, which was 30amp in may case. Owned the car since 2005., its a 2002 Jetta Manual. I'll need to pay attention to the lights when it blows. My first guess is that they just all come on as if you just turned the key on. Its only happened twice and I have parked the car now.

I drive it once a month. I start it, drive it around the block, let it warm up then drive around the block again and park it until the next month. Has blown 1 fuse in 3 months of doing this. Don't have much time right now to fix it. I have jiggled harnesses while its idling to see if I can get the fuse to blow but no such case yet.

Fuse 32 feeds the ECM and:
FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR/MODULATING PISTON DISPLACEMENT SENSOR/QUANTITY ADJUSTER (AT LEFT SIDE OF ENGINE, ON FRONT OF DIESEL DFI PUMP)

Check the wires around the front of the injector pump and follow the harness back to the ECM for damage.
Maybe a wiggle test while the car is running.
My list says: 32. Injectors: gasoline engine (10A); diesel engine (15A).
