I have just collected my new car: A 2002 Seat Leon 110TDi.
It is fitted with the ASV engine and seems to be low on power (It could only manage 30mph up a moderate hill).
I will service the car with new engine oil, oil filter, air filter and a new fuel filter as these appear quite overdue for replacement.
I have VCDS and I am keen to check the health of the motor to investigate issues such as:
Faulty MAF, Blocked EGR, Coked turbo or Inlet manifold, incorrect injection timing, faulty N75 or anything else that can cause power loss.
I am just about to sit down and read the VCDS Manual (a good start I thought). If anyone has any other suggestions I would be very keen to hear.
Thanks
