I'm looking to confirm what we have here. I assume one is DPF and the other is resonator or cat. Can someone please clarify.

Thanks,
J

One on the left (towards rear of vehicle) is the SOx trap, followed by exhaust flap, followed by NOx trap. (left to right) On the rear of the motor is the 1-piece DOC and DPF.

I can’t find anything that remotely comes close to my question, my googlefu isn’t working I guess.

Which of those exhaust components once removed will cause an error, check engine light, etc and if one or more will cause an error what will ignoring the error result in? If I remove everything from the cat back would that cause an error and cause the engine to run badly, oddly?
