The cruise liner, QE2, moves only six inches for each gallon of diesel that it burns.

My MPG is Waaaaaay better than that!!

How many passenger*miles is that?
How much petroleum was needed to create the surface upon which it moves?
And is that fuel use for motive power only, or is it the entire fuel use for desalinization, A/C, lighting, laundry, kitchen and all the other incidentals?

Makes the H1 look like an econobox.

Fonts don't bother me unless they bother me.

That would be 1791 (fast google search, could be wrong) passengers * 49.5 (using azbioguy's numbers) foot per gallon = 16.8 passenger miles per gallon. That isn't extremely sucky, but of course it's moving a small town with maximal luxyuries too. Hey, isn't that better than the H1, H2, H3, et al?

Just to prove they can, they should make an H0. (not the model scale HO)

Given the dimensions of the H1, the H0 should be larger.

I calculated the differences between the H1 and H2 to see how much larger it would be if they kept the same 'growth' rate.

Curb Weight = 8030lbs
Ground Clearance = 23in
Height = 78.9in
Length = 180.1in
Wheelbase = 138in
Width = 93in
HP = 275
Torque = 676

That would be one ridiculous ride.

Oh, and the price would be $204,300.00

FWIW - The now discontinued H1 got better fuel mileage than the H2. The difference? The '06 H1 was a Duramax diesel.

Possible tagline for the new H0.
You'll pickup all the HOs in your new H0!

Very fitting for the target consumer.

Well, that and that the H1 had practicle use. It's not a vehicle meant for road use like the H2. The H1 is great for what it is meant for.

(from what I understand, and what I understand may be wrong.... oh, and FUH2 for good measure.)
