2014 Sportwagon potential transmission issues?

I have a 2014 Sportwagon with the dsg automatic transmission and the car will occasionally shake and I can feel it in the gas pedal in addition to watching the tachometer jump around a little bit. The car typically does it more when it is at operating temperature and moving at least 35mph+. I'm not sure if this is the start of a major problem or is only a minor issue....please help. The car has 31,600 miles on it at the time of this posting.

Sounds like a regen. Remove emission and tune.

Please get the car scanned first before doing anything else. Get VCDS (there is a list here) or find someone else who has it and get it scanned for codes. Without those you are just wasting money buying things you don't need. Scan it and post the results up here and someone will be able to help you.

After talking to the volkswagen specialists in town it appears my car is trying to go through a regen. gonna take it for a nice long drive tonight and hopefully that fixes the problem

Regens should happen every 200 +/- or so. Do everything you can to let them complete when needed. There are tools and apps that let you monitor this kind of thing on your phone or tablet using an OBDII adapter and the app. These cars need to regen regularly or you will have issues. Good luck and do some reading here on regens and the apps used to monitor them. Torque and VAGDPF are two of them.

It could be the exhaust flap operating as normal in order to maintain proper emissions... I was experiencing the same thing on my 2013 A3 when it was stock. Oddly enough, I didn't have it happen in my 2014 sportwagen.
