Hello, I have a 2010 Jetta that drains the battery after sitting about 2-3 days, or whenever I listen to the radio for only about 30 minutes with the ignition off. Simple battery load test and alternator test checks ok.
I have pulled all the fuses one at a time while having a test light between the +post and +cable, and the drain doesn't stop. Now, intermittently, my car does not shut off when I turn the key off, until I push the brake in.
I saw on Youtube that you need to open your door and hood, then trip the latches so it thinks it's closed, then let the car go to sleep for a couple hours, then use a VOLTAGE test across the fuses instead of pulling them, cuz pulling a fuze may trip the car into activating something else, which would throw your whole test off.
Before I do that, any initial advice of the most likely cause of the problem?
Thanks,
Ed

How old is the current battery?

I changed my factory one out 2 years ago (I've also got a 2010 Jetta)
