Hi all,

On a reasonably rust-free car assuming having all the tools needed and better than average mechanical skills how long would it take to do the following work on a 2003 wagon.. jetta..n

Replace all four struts, 2 front springs, inner tie rod, front a arms, front sway bar bushings (ones on the frame not end links), front rotors and pads , fuel filter, assume all new installation Hardware and Parts on hand.

Thanks

Andrew

I did the whole deal on mine, including going to 288mm brakes with new knuckles in a day. Less than a day for everything but the beam bushings, and about 2 hours for the rear bushings. All in all a day. New LCA's, new struts and shocks and mounting hardware, tie rod ends, and ball joints as well.

Least common tools being a big air hammer and a bushing splitter chisel.
cheers,
Douglas
