Wondering if the front wheel bearing is the same as the rear wheel bearing . I know that most people just buy the whole hub but if a guy has a bearing press how difficult would it be to replace the bearing?

It is different but you can still replace it. Whether or not it is cheaper to replace the whole thing or replace just the bearing depends on the tools you already own I would think. I haven't had to do the rears yet but I bout a kit that said it can do fronts and backs (sir-B90).

Completely different.

Front ones you press in these:

Back ones a complete unit like these:

Not worth it to try and source a new bearing for the back ones IMO ($63 a wheel for these).

Account for your time too. You have to take the old hub apart.. what if you score it.. you still have to put it back on.. etc. etc. At least for the rear.
