D'oh! Coolant res connector....

Quick question- the electrical connector on the A4 Coolant resevoir. What does it monitor??

I was trying to pull it off to spray a little contact cleaner in there and my fingers slipped on the undercoating and pulled the connector apart, seperating one of the wires . I know, "if it ain't broke, don't fix..." it right?
