I'm curious if anybody else experienced this.
I chose Team VW in Hayward CA as my preference for buyback. Earliest appointment was mid-February (five week lead time). From the available slots, it looks like they only have a specialist on site two days a week.
I have upwards of 20 VW dealerships around me to select from, from Santa Rosa to San Jose and out to Sac. On the portal, I selected nearly every one to see who had an earlier date available. Despite most having appointment availability on more days of the week, the earliest date was at least another two weeks after my primary dealership's earliest. So late February, early March. There may have been one or two with appointments a week earlier.
Is this what everybody else is getting? Is VW attempting to keep us at our primary dealership by limiting the earliest appointments? Or was this just coincidence?
