Dunno, they seem pretty steep to me. I have hung out around a dyno long enough to separate the wheat from the chaff; and I have NEVER seen an airfilter do more than maybe a couple horsepower, usually not a gain that can be trusted due to repeatability errors.

No doubt there is a little restriction with the stock airbox.

Especially with the amount of boost they are running, I would believe maybe 5 tq, not 30.

AFE claimed 10% increase in their MK IV TDI product too.

My testing and logs indicate otherwise (no gain).

When Eurotuner modded a 2009 TDI (intake and exhaust) they got 1 or 3 HP increase, well within the margin of error.
