Thank you, sir.
I'll give that another go this weekend, and let you know how it goes.

This did not work.
T23/5 is not present on my test harness (no, I can't tell you precisely what year/model it came from, because fleabay.)
From my read of the wiring diagrams, T23/20 is actually the +12v output (from the CCM) for the interior lighting circuit.)
But, tried jacking power into that. It made the CCM click - still no comms.

Who knows - maybe this one's a dud. If only I had a Golf/Jetta to use (easy to pull those!), instead of a B5 Passat (sucks to pull that one.)

m8,this pinout is not a presumption, trial, or any else ! Is wiring for my bench test wiring harness for ccm. Now:
--this ccm don't have a +12V output for interior lightings; +12V is permanent on lamps and grounding for lamps is the output of ccm
--without +12V present at pin T23/5 diag conections never be established.

I'll give that a try (probably Saturday or Sunday.) I'll need to move a wire - but, it's doable.
Will update at that point.

Thanks!

Update:
It works! Applying power at T23/5 got comms up. T23/20 (at least on the CCM that's sitting here) does not need +12v applied to it.

Thanks for the pointer.

So, I've been doing a few Jetta wagons where you modify the usual 1C0 bytes that allow the comfort window operation via remote (04361, 2 and 3) to also put the rear hatch operation with central locks and after a lot of time pouring through this thread, I did find what allows the Golfs to also operate the hatch lock with the door locks too. On 1C0 959 799 x CCMs

Post 610 outlines what the addresses are, but I used the values from this post.

Original values in the North American 03 Golf I was working on:

Addresses: 04352, 3, 4 were originally 200. I changed them to 88 and it works perfect. The switch in the door is now disabled, too.

I was trying the same on a very early production 99.5 Golf 2 door, GL with crank windows (so address 35 instead of 46). It's a weird part number I've never seen before.

1C0962258P

Login 19283 still works and I can read using function 26. But it will NOT let me write (function 27). I get an error.

What I also noticed is it seems the config bytes are in a pattern I haven't seen even with early 1J0 CCMs. And there are sets of 4 instead of 3.

04284 2
04290 2
04296 2
04302 2

and

04285 166
04291 166
04297 166
04303 166

166 = 10100110

But, either way, it just won't let me write to 04285, 91, 97 and 04303.

Any one else try messing with the reaaaly early CLM?

Hey guys!
I'm trying to fit a 1J0959799J in my '97 Passat B5 Sedan. The only problem after connecting it is that my trunk lock works inverted. So when I lock the doors the trunk unlocks. And when I unlock the doors the trunk locks. Where should I start looking?
Thanks!
