Default LF: mkiv rear axle bushing tool (GTA)

Hi guys,

Looking to do my rear axle bushing and i'm wondering if anyone has the tool to rent/borrow.

I live in vaughan but work downtown.

You could make your own with some threaded rod, nuts, washers and scrap lumber.

I did it in 2013

That's what i ended up doing.
Took the whole rear axle out, wire wheeled, primed, painted and replaced the brake lines.

no more clunking in the rear end!

threaded rod, nuts and washers from Canadian tire. I also borrowed a balljoint tool from there and mixed and matched the pieces to make it work.

No pics unfortunately, the threaded rod they had at my Canadian tire wasn't as thick as I'd like.. and by the end of it I had rip the thread out of portions of the rod so I just tossed it.

I did it on the bench as I planned to have it painted but I couldn't imagine working on this under the car. The rust on my 17 year old car
