I recently acquired the VAG-COM software and cable, but have yet to get beyond "gee-whiz" and learn how to do useful stuff with it.

I'm in the northeastern Boston 'burbs, and once the @#$% dealer finishes fixing my ailing Jetta I'll be happy to go scan folks. (...if my girlfriend will let me!)

Well, there's a least one in France: I have VAG-COM, VW-tool, Uwe's cable of course, and a compaq laptop (soon two). I'm in Angers, Maine et Loire. If any frenchman in need of help is reading this, I'll be glad to help him (or her, with even more pleasure )
Got the family album too, hehe

For VW tools check out my post I did before I saw this string.
http://forums.tdiclub.com/cgi-bin/ul...&f=17&t=002955

The place shown has everything from filter wrench to VAG tool and Vag adapters. Didn't know you needed so many specialized tools.

Hmmmm, with all the TDI's in the DFW Texas area, you would think someone would have one. Well I'll be purchasing mine in the next couple of months, but for now anyone in the DFW have one?
