I have a one month old Jetta TDI with a manual transmission. The clutch
makes a soft clicking sound (like snapping your finger)whenever enagaged
while accelerating. You can also feel a slight pressure change in the pedal
at the same time. It does not do it when stopped or when downshifting. It is barely audible, but enough to be annoying. The dealer technician says it is the clutch switch that makes an audible click when engaged and that they all do it, and there is nothing to be done about it. Is that so ?
(I never heard it in any clutch before.)
