This what you see in the picture should be the water line (i think for low egr). The egt sensor is already installed to manifold on the picture.

lol I mean the bown/orangisch plug. this is EGT sensor plug and I wonder why it looks that and has this alu piece on it. Maybe it's a SENT (SAE J2716) type sensor?

No its egt sensor.. If u look on ebay.de u find more turbos like this and its confirmed its egt sensor. Speed sensor is in comp housing like u see on v12 tdi for example.

CR190 Borg warner (water cooled) :)
could be a good one for the cr140 guys ;)
it's most powerful single turbo application in a factory 2.0 liter diesel. (garrett "CR190" is really 184hp)
vacuum actuator

Turbine: 8 blades (CR170= 9 and CR140 =11)
inducer: 43 mm
exducer: 38.5 mm (CR170/140= 38mm)
tip height: 7
total height: 18

Compressor: 6 blades (+6 half blades) with coating for LP egr
inducer: 40mm (Cr170= 37 and CR140 = 34)
exducer: 50mm (CR170/140= 47.5)
tip H: 3.2mm
tot H: 16mm

the tip/total height numbers are approx by my poor measuring tools.

KKK - BV43 D (Audi A4 B9 2.0TDI - 190hp) ....watercooled CHRA

Well, it just so happens I have some of the BW CR190WC turbos on hand and one is going the company passat, another in the GSW, others in our '10 jetta sportwagens, pretty much a drop-in except LP egr and water lines (but that is handled ;) ) The Bimmer turbo will take a lot more work not to mention actuator and so forth. So... Maybe future project :)

Thanks guys for the reply.
I 'm looking a turbo for a fiat 1.3 multijet engine and I want to make the best choice to have minimal lag and a lot of power over 200hp:D.
The Fiat 1.3 Multijet engine ( 1248cc ) is really small . The amount of smoke that it generated is very little .To Load a big turbo is very difficult.
In my country (Italy) is usually used a GTB1549v (2.0 Multijet 170hp) to make a lot of power 190-200hp ( at 2.5-2.8bar ) but it has much lag. it has full boost at 2800-3000rpms.
For an average power is usually used a GTB1446vz (1.6 Multijet 120 hp )to make normal power 135-145hp at 1.8-2.2 bar(depends of the boost) with minimal lag.
I'm looking for the latest generation of Garrett GTD series turbo's and I'm very interested in ceramic ball bearing turbo to reduce lag, for example GTD1752vrk of lastest 2.0bmw 190hp engine's. It is a wonderful turbo for big power but I do not know how much lag can make it.
Anyone knows a little more small ceramic ball bearing turbo's of GTD1752vrk? For example GTD15XXvrk,GTD14XXvrk?
The GTD1449vz of 2.0 tdi 184hp is not ceramic ball bearing and it is integrated into the exhaust manifold.
The borgwargner bv43d is ceramic ball bearing? It is only available integrated with the exhaust manifold?
Thanks

GTD1752vrk can inflate even 1.5 bar at 1600 rpm.
This is the best turbocharger to the power of 220-240Hp.
Link to the graph engine 1,9BKC and GTD1752vrk.

GTD2060VZ fitted to an ASZ on Golf mk3 here, still has to put the new engine in but no time, then will remap as previous tune probably killed enginen, upgraded nozzles and cams will follow.
Didnt had a dynosheet but it was pulling really hard (on std injectors).

Turbo is lying in garage if anybody need pictures or measurements ;)

GTD2060VZ is still journal bearing I believe, I have now found a 2060vk with ceramic ball bearings and this will be fitted to the asz engine I'm rebuilding along with ported oversize valve head diamondyze pistons 10.5mm lift cam and all the other supporting mods. Idea is to get over 300bhp with a really fast spool so it will have brilliant driveability

I like them having V-Band at the Y piece. the previous model vzk is a mayor PITA to reach the bottom bolt of the triangular flange. I had one with stripped teeth, spent 2 hours with a dremel to get the head off:cool:

From the Garrett number 111245 and the style of the identification plate, its quite an ancient model. The latest generation turbos are already at 8xxxxx. Can't help you though. Even Garrett's own database can't identify it.

It's an prototype turbo from very early VNT testings, quite some time before the first Gen 1 VNT was thrown on the market.

I had two or three of them long time ago, TDIMeister you might remember I sent you pictures once....

Maybe the one pictured here even was mine once, before I got rid of them ^^
