recoded radio for aux input

i recoded the radio for the aux input(0040400 -> 0040401)

and i noticed that the sound output is now 1000 times better!
the lows hit hard and are crisp and clear and the highs the same.

is this normal when recoding a radio?
did it enable some kind of amplifier?
