Does anybody have a list of engine codes for the European VW/Audi vehicles that would have PD130 or PD150 manifolds? I may have a source of getting some manifolds from Germany if I can give said person the engine codes. All I have at the moment are:

AFN
ASZ
ARL

The UK pd130 & pd150 all have the manifolds pointing to the left (as you look at the engine from the front) See mine for comparison. This is an ASZ manifold, although no longer "stock" :D

AWX and AVF are longditudnally mounted and the intake manifold part numbers are 038 129 713 AJ or 038 129 713 AG pictured below.......

and ARL, ASZ, BPX are the normal style intake manifolds that go to the left, p/n 038 129 713 AF pictured below

and the others mentioned BXE, BKC, BLS & BLT are from the mk5 "105" and the AXR engine
P/N 038 129 713 BC, pictured below

note that the "BC" intake has a different stud pattern to the EGR. the other ones i mentioned above all have the same stud pattern and will accept the large bore EGR(of which theres 2 versions, one from a long engine and one from a transverse, difference is the side which the actuator is mounted on)
but if you get a "BC" intake you will have to specify this when buying your racepipe, street toys sells a BC racepipe
and then there are 2 more intake manifolds which i have recently found, i have no idea where they came from but the part numbers are 03G 129 713 B and C
03G 129 713 B has the same EGR bolt pattern as the regular pd150/pd130 intake 038 129 713 AF
03G 129 713 C has the same EGR bolt pattern as the AXR manifold 038 129 713 BC

No TDIs Currently, I have an R36 Corrado. I've had an ALH Corrado swap, AHU Corrado swap and 2003 TDI Jetta
Is it feasible that a BC's EGR valve could fit on a Passat PD 130 intake manifold (038-129-713-AJ or 038-129-713-AG) with only minor modification of the holes on the EGR? Maybe I could slot them or would the o-ring on seat on the intake manifold's flange?

The reason why I ask is because I want to use an EGR valve without the shutdown flap on my mk3 AHU. here is the EGR that I want to use: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-GO...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4152221e42

Great info fenwick... I've got the ARL (038 129 713 AF) version and am having a time finding a proper EGR and upper charge hose for it. You don't have any good leads or part numbers I can pursue do you??

You need EGR with this part-number 038131501AT. But you also will need new elbow hose 1J0145838AF

Great pics Fenwick. I've noticed you seem to have pics of all those hard to find parts for some odd reason!

yes, minor modding of the holes on the EGR would work no problem, one of the holes will need ovalling 1-2mm.
are you sure that EGR in the picture on the ad is what you will get? it looks to me like they have loads of different EGR's, you give them your engine code and they send you an EGR.

I don't think I'm going to use that ebay auction. slow-moe posted that the part number is 038-131-501-AN I think that I'll buy it through worldimpex.com when I order some other parts for my turbo conversion.

Sorry for the exumation, but Im getting a pd150 manifold P/N 03G 129 713. It doesnt have a suffix on it, so I figured Id see if you guys could steer me towards the correct EGR/Race pipe for it. I highly doubt that my stock BEW ASV would bolt up and retain operation though correct? Just out of curiousity, do any of the different p/n manifolds have any distinct advantage over the others?

In your case, please examine the length of the inlet and the mounting face for the ASV/EGR components. The more common of the pass. side inlet types would be the 038 129 713 AF. See post #16 above. If you're getting a race pipe for it, the length will have to be long(er) as needed. As for fitting an EGR assy, I suggest getting w/RyanP about that.

thread revival...
Am i correct in thinking an intake manifold from an AXR engine will fit directly onto a mk5 BKC engine?

part numbers from etka are different...

which of these would work best for 2002 Jetta Tdi with a stock intake.... i eventually plan on changing that but just one piece at a time... already have EGR delete in programming from rocket chip stage 2... i found an intake online --> VW SEAT SKODA AUDI A3 1.9 TDI PD BXE DIESEL INLET MANIFOLD BREAKING 03G129713 --> will this work for my car?

I have a manifold here ending in AF (bottom left one in pic above) - Seems to be the accepted PD150 manifold.
