06 Jetta TDI Clutch Problems??

Hey guys,
First problem with the TDI last night- I got in to go out, put it in reverse, and as i let out the clutch it felt like the clutch plate was broken...it would grab and let loose very erratically, and it made a horrible noise....i called VWoA and i'm waiting on the tow truck to take my baby in.....Hopefully the dealer can figure it out and fix it right. Anybody had any similar experiences like this?

My brother had the same problem. The rivets in the clutch disk broke down. VW tried to blame it off on his driving. They replaced the clutch with another defective disk and it failed again. He is currently in negotiations for another car. I am sorry to say but once they open up the car they never put them back together correctly. After the work on my brothers jetta third gear was very hard to get into and VW claimed there was nothing wrong.
