Is this covered under warranty...?

I've had my 2012 JSW for 2.5 months (12,000 miles already). Today, I noticed the stitching on the seat of the back seat is ripped. So, now there is a hole...

I have to assume this is covered under warranty, but I just wanted someone to confirm this.

they may argue with the high miles and say it was a key in someones pocket, but they should do it for you.

It is a lil misleading, but here's the break down:

I have a 140 mile commute everyday to New Orleans and back, plus incidental driving for work and errands, so let's bump that up to 150. So, roughly: (150*5 days a week)*10 weeks = 7500 miles.

And, I bought the car from Chris at Langhorne, and drove it back down: 1200 miles.

Went to Disney World, and a few points here and there on the trip: 1500 miles, round trip.

Then there are the errands and ball games and scouts after work and on weekends: about another 1500 miles.

So, I am at about 11,700 miles. Take away 2,700 miles, and I'm down to 9,000 miles in the 2.5 months. So, 3,500 to 4,000 a month is more likely to be the norm.
