Hey guys I tried looking this up but not much luck... I went to NAPA to get some adblue for my treg but they only had this stuff called blue sky... it was a lot cheaper then going to the dealer to get it . It states that it does meets ISO 22241 requirements. is this safe to use?? What do most of you guys use?? I looked in the owners man and it states only to use DEF that meets ISO 22241-1... What is the -1 mean any difference between the two?
Thanks

It's like Worcestershiresusuresusure sauce right? Torauraureg?? :)

The -1 is the standard revision, in this case from 2006. The blue sky stuff looks fine to me.

Nowadays, diesel exhaust fluid can be had at anywhere from the auto parts stores to truck stops.

What's so special about the dealer's fluid???

If it meets specs I would use it.

It's the correct stuff, key phrase: ISO-12241

There is for the most part only one type of AdBlue solution, and only one used inthe US/Europe.

FWIW I use the VW brand in the Bluetec's...the jug that it comes in I use for other fluids after cleaning them.
