Drop subframe - phase 2?

Hi!

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed, I couldn't find it in search.

I know part of the Phase 2 fix requires the subframe to be dropped to access the DPF - is an alignment required after dropping? My steering wheel seems to be a bit off now, not sure if it's the placebo effect from the wheel on my loaner or if my dealership did a halfway job again.

When my Passat was done last month, they told me they did lower the subframe to make the job easier.

But they did the alignment to bring everything back in spec. Which was nice because I planned on getting an alignment after the recall when I got new tires installed.

I don't think I got an alignment. Had issues getting it done properly at the same dealership a few months back - tracks straight as an arrow, just seems a teeny bit wonky
