2015 Beetle TDI
Hi All!

This is my first time on this forum. I just bought a 2015 Beetle TDI convertible. Love the car -- awesome MPG! But I am disappointed with the handling. My 2004 Passat handles a lot better.

Anyone have any suggestions on upgrading the suspension? I read that the Beetle R-Lines have independent rear suspension. Is it too wacky to consider R-Line rear suspension components for my TDI? Thanks for any responses!

Well, It would certainly cost you quite a bit of cash to make that kind of change. The only thing that I am currently aware of is H&R coilovers. They cost over 1200.00 and lower the car but they would certainly improve the handling. There are also H&R sway bars available which would also help. In time more will be available but right now that's about it.
