Anyone have experience with the one that ECS is selling as opposed to ID Parts (Evolution) The one from ECS appears to bolt right into the existing holes and tabs where he Evolution requires the installation of brackets. Thoughts?

I'd lean towards one that installs the brackets. From the Diesel Geek that I had knowing that the front of the plate is just as secured as the rear. If the ESC just attaches to the stock front valence lip I wouldn't trust it to provide much stopping power.

BTW why not go OEM?

Hit up http://www.e-acca.com/ for cheap euro only parts local NA dealers can't get.

This is the stock plate that came on the Alltrack.

The Evolution and dieselgeek skid plates are actually skid plates. The ECS product is a heavy duty, reinforced splash pan.

ECS lists this as 23% off. Is this something that they run every so often?
