The new Skoda Fabia 1.9 tdi-pd gets awesome power after Upsoluting: 133hp / 310Nm
(100hp / 240Nm stock)
Now my question is, of course, can the clutch and transmission handle this?
If so, this car is going to make many gassers very sad

I posted on the Fabia a few weeks back - looks fantastic value and being a good deal lighter than the Golf out to out-pace it too. The hatch looks better than the wagon. Shame we will never see Skoda stateside.

To answer your question, normally not. When you look into the technical differences of clutch and gear between the old 90hp and 110 hp and the new 115hp PD I doubt it. But if you have a light right foot then you limit it by foot , but that's not the reason you would do it I think.
