I am just too busy to work on this car.
I bought it in 2005 with 75,000 miles on it.
It now has 405,000 miles.
It started running rough 2 1/2 years ago and I parked it and bought another car.
I think the intake needs cleaning? But I’m not sure?
I did a compression test on it.
Cyl #1 - 460 psi
Cyl #2 - 480 psi
Cyl #3 - 480 psi
Cyl #4 - 470 psi

So I think the engine is healthy.
I installed a new transmission from VW dealer at 305K ($3,500)
New injection pump installed at 175K (I still have the old 11mm core)

I drove this car 130 miles per day round trip to work. Honestly, it is a better driving car than the Camry I bought with only 20K miles. But I don’t have to tell you all that. It is simply a matter of me not having time to work on it and I don’t want to scrap it cause I know it is worth fixing.
If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM.

I’m not sure what to ask for it so I guess the first decent serious offer is where we start.
I will try to answer any questions you have on here.

Free to good home.

Hopefully this bumps this thread??
I really hate to scrap this car. I know someone could probably use it.
I have a IP core from when I replaced it.

If someone is interested in hauling it off I will help you load it.
It doesn’t deserve to be thrown away.

It was always a great driving and pulled strong!

If someone can use it please call or text me.

As an update vehicle runs great. I changed IP, Glow Plugs, harness, timing belt and all fluids. I took it on a 600 mile trip to Arkansas over Christmas.
