I was wondering what Dot to use? The Napa guys said Dot 3. But I did not think that was correct /images/graemlins/smirk.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif

The a4 cars specify DOT 4.

If you are not sure about a specific car, choose DOT 4 over DOT 3, since DOT 4 brake fluid meets DOT 3 specifications as well (but has higher boiling points) and does not cost significantly more. Do not mix DOT 5 brake fluid with DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
